Part Numbering

If you would like to cross reference another brand’s part number, please visit our free online cross reference tool or speak to a member of our friendly sales team.

When building our part numbers for passenger cars and light commercial vehicles:

We start with the prefix which relates to the product type:

  • JT = Clutch Kit
  • SF = Solid Flywheel Kit
  • DF = Dual Mass Flywheel Kit
  • GT = Guide Tube
  • CSC = Concentric Slave Cylinder
  • EQ = Release Bearing
  • SB = Spigot Bearing
  • CLS = Clutch Slave Cylinder
  • CMC = Clutch Master Cylinder

Then, this is followed by a sequence number which serves as a unique identifier for the individual product.

For Clutch Kits where a CSC is included, we add an additional three to four sequence numbers which correlate to the first numbers within the appropriate CSC’s part number.

When building our part numbers for heavy-duty commercial vehicles:

Our Concentric Slave Cylinders and Bearings follow the same prefix and sequence numbering rules as detailed above.

Our Clutch Kit part numbers adhere to the following template:

  • First three digits = External diameter for the pressure plate
  • Fourth digit:
    • 1 = Pull Type
    • 2 = Push Type
  • Fifth digit = Number of components within the kit
  • Sixth digit = Number of drive plates within the kit
  • Seventh to ninth digits = Sequence numbers (a unique identifier)
