Colleague Spotlight: Bartlomiej Kieltyka, Business Development Manager

What is your role at The Tibbetts Group?

“I’m the Business Development Manager at TGL for the central and eastern European markets, promoting our RYMEC brand of clutch and transmission components.

“My primary responsibility is to develop our presence in Poland, as well as central European markets. I really enjoy the varied nature of my role, from negotiating with the senior management teams of our key customers and prospects, to communicating with the sales teams of our distributors, overseeing marketing promotions, conducting product training, and more.”

How long have you worked at The Tibbetts Group?

“I recently celebrated my 10-year anniversary in September!”

What is your favourite aspect of your role?

“I thrive on building solid relationships with different stakeholders, learning different cultures and points of view along the way. I’m always learning; the market is totally different now compared to when I began in the industry, and so I’m always seeking out new and innovative solutions.”

Are there any significant projects which you are currently working on?

“I’m always focusing on the development of our Commercial Vehicle distribution network.

“We regularly introduce new product lines to the market – two years ago it was RYMEC DMF Kits, and earlier this year we introduced RYMEC Clutch Hydraulics, so it’s an exciting time at TGL.”

Have you worked in this role throughout your career?

“I began in the automotive aftermarket more than 20 years ago, and I have worked on international trade and the development of brands and products throughout this time.

“I’ve always been interested in cars and the automotive industry, and have worked across several markets throughout Europe. So, when I became part of the TGL team in 2015, I was well-positioned to help promote the RYMEC brand to new European audiences.”

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

“I try to spend most of the time with my family, and I enjoy dedicating most of my time to my kids.

“When I have some spare time, I enjoy taking part in my favourite activities and hobbies too.”

Do you have a particularly interesting hobby?

“Cars are one of my biggest interests, and if I find some spare time, I enjoy riding my motorbike in the summer.”

“I like to stay active too, by attending my favourite martial arts club and doing Ju-jitsu training. I was able to encourage my son to train with me, which I really enjoy. During the winter, I like skiing too.”

Do you follow a sports team?

“I don’t follow popular sports like football; I believe that there are many underappreciated sports which lack support but develop so much talent. For example, I was recently interested to learn about the first man to descend Mount Everest on skis. What an achievement!”

What is your favourite film or television genre?

“I don’t have too much time to watch television, but I do like going to the cinema. I try to follow Polish cinema, supporting the films which are not so mainstream in particular.

“My partner and I also like watching theatre performances, from time to time.”

What’s your favourite holiday destination?

“I don’t have a specific favourite; there are still many destinations to discover, and I like visiting new places and cultures.”

What’s something that you’ve always wanted to try or learn?

“Travelling is the best teacher, so I’m always learning! The opportunity to incorporate travel into my work is something which I cherish.”
